DATTA Vic's mission is to empower Design & Technologies educators to deliver innovative, sustainable, and future-focused learning. We support teachers through high-quality professional development, resources, and advocacy, and we champion the vital role of design, engineering, and creative problem-solving in Victorian schools. We a charitable institution and members' association which is run by teachers, for teachers. |
DATTA Vic has a constitution which is the legally binding set of rules that outline how we operate, our purposes, and our structure. It serves as a guiding document for governance, defining the rights and obligations of members and leaders, how meetings are held, and how assets are handled. Any changes to this document must be voted on by our members. We also have a wide range of policies and procedures to ensure we always act professionally and transparently and in the best interests of our members, teachers, students and stakeholders. Each year, we produce an annual report which allows our members to see the work that we have been doing on their behalf. You can read each of these documents below; |
| A volunteer committee of passionate educators oversee the strategic development of our service, and two part time staff manage the operations. Our committee meet once a month during term time, mostly online, but we get together in person at our AGMs, planning days and the last meetings of the year. MEET THE TEAM |
